About the Role
We are actively seeking qualified physicians for various positions, including Family Practitioners, Pediatricians, Psychiatrists, Gynecologists, Obstetricians, and more. To be considered for any of these roles, candidates must be licensed or eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA).
In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive primary care services to our patients, including diagnosing, and treating illnesses, managing chronic conditions, and providing preventive care.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional patient care, with a focus on building long-term relationships with their patients. As a member of our team, you will work collaboratively with other medical professionals to provide a holistic approach to patient care.
Key responsibilities include conducting physical exams, ordering, and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and providing patient education and counseling. Our ideal candidate should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centric approach to care.
We offer flexible schedules with the possibility of day and night shifts, weekends, and holidays. This position is available for full-time, part-time, casual, or permanent employment, and remote work is not available.
Requirements
Completion of medical school from an accredited institution
Successful completion of the Medical Council of Canada Qualifying Examination Part I and II
Certification from the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC) or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC)
Eligibility for licensure in the province of Alberta through the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA)
Proficiency in English language, both written and spoken
Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based practices in family medicine
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centric approach to care
Ability to work collaboratively with other medical professionals as part of a multidisciplinary team
Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning
Familiarity with electronic medical record systems and other technologies used in clinical practice.
